Welcome To The Affiliate Tools Center for The Original and Strictly Unofficial Tauren Chef
Cookbook.
How does it work and how much do you earn?
Step 1 - If you don't already have a Clickbank account:
Clickbank is a site that allows people to create a digital product and sell it
using Clickbank's payment processing system. Clickbank processes the major credit cards, VISA, etc., as well as
PayPal, and is pretty straighforward and easy to use.
Basically all you do is join Clickbank, grab a code, put it in the appropriate place, and
Clickbank takes care of all the payment details.
To sell the MMO Cookbook on your site you need to sign up for your Clickbank account here. It's free, quick, easy, and you'll have it
up and running in a couple of minutes. When you're done you'll have a Clickbank affiliate ID, for
example: myclickbankid, zognog, wowrocks, taurenchef (that one is taken) or whatever.
This ID is the code that you will insert into the special clickbank links to sell any
Clickbank product, such as ours.
By the way: It's 100% free to join Clickbank.
As long as you're making sales then Clickbank will pay you every 15 days. (Most programs, such
as Amazon.com, pay monthly.) We've found Clickbank to be very reliable with its payment and site
stability.
You don't have to be a US citizen to participate. Clickbank's system is international. They're
not in all countries, but they're in a lot.
Step 2 - You now have your Clickbank ID:
Grab your Clickbank affiliate ID and insert it into the this link, in place of the red
YourClickbankID:
http://YourClickbankID.taurenchef.hop.clickbank.net/
For example, if your Clickbank ID is zugzug then your link will look like this:
http://zugzug.taurenchef.hop.clickbank.net/
The Original Tauren Chef Cookbook pays 60% of the sale price of $17.97. After
Clickbank takes their small cut you will earn about $9.50 for every copy of the book that you
sell.
Disclaimer: Please note that we're not promising that you'll make any
sales. How much you make with us is 100% determined by your ability to market this product.
We will work to improve our sales letter (so that the traffic you send to us does make
more sales) and kill any bugs that we find, but as an affiliate the marketing end is up to you. Which is, of
course, why you get paid. ;)
Step 3 - What to do with your
link:
Now you can place your link on your website or in articles or blog posts or where ever.
Here's an example:
<a href="Your Clickbank Link Goes Here"
target=_blank>The Original Tauren Chef Cookbook</a>
target=_blank causes the link to open a new window when clicked.
Feel free to build a link that suits the content of your site/blog.
By the way: Clickbank uses cookies to determine whose link was used by the buyer of
any Clickbank product. This cookie lasts for 30 days. so even if someone clicks through on your link and
doesn't buy right away, but they do with 30 days, then you still get credit.

Here are some links and banners for you to use. Please save any banner images to your computer

Blogging
One easy way to get started is to create your own cooking or WoW
blog and start posting your own stuff. In the content you send the occasional link at
our site, via your affiliate link.
That works best if you include your own personal
recommendation.
Blogger.com and Wordpress.com (not wordpress.org) are both
excellent free sites that are easy to get started with. And they're free.
Wordpress.com has a nice set up videos which will walk you through the entire thing, Blogger is
more flexible in the adds and widgets that you can add to your site. There are lots of other,
similar, platforms, but I like these two the best. You can find recipes, cooking articles,
videos, and more all over the web that you can "talk" about. Just be sure to add your own spin
on things if you link to or use their content.
You can also check out the Bloggers Secret Weapon if you're looking to get serious about blogging, or
you already are serious. Otherwise, skip it.

Article Marketing
For this to work well you need to have a main site first. It can be a blog, as above, or a page
or pages on sites like Squidoo.com or Hubpages.com, or your own sites.
The idea is that you will make a review page of some sort on your site and then write articles
and submit them to the various article directories that are out there. Ezinearticles.com and
StreetArticles.com are two of these.
You will have a link or two in the article that points back to your review page. Keep doing this
an you can generate some nice traffic to that page (or any page) for no cost other than your
time to write the stuff.
This site offers a ton of training for article marketing and any other form
of marketing that you can think of.
