A WoW Gold Creating Tip: The Spreadsheet
One of the great things all of the good wow gold guides have in common is that they lay out where to go, what to do, and what you're likely to find. The only downside is that other players have the same guide.
So what do you do? Make your own guide. Another plus is you won't have to remember where you found that exotic item that sold for a ton, when it's been three weeks since you found it.
Grab your spreadsheet program. If yoiu don't have Excel then you can either go to http://www.openoffice.org and grab a free copy of their office suite or you can go to the mighty Google and use theirs.
By the way, if you'd rather use Word, or another word processor to do this, feel free. Once you have your spreadsheet up and running you're going to make a table, like this one:
| Zone |
What dropped? |
What dropped it? |
Sold for ... |
Notes: |
| Barrens |
recipe for (whatever) |
Venture Co Goblin |
15g |
Shoulda kept it and sold the food... |
| Barrens |
randoms greens |
Lions and hyenas |
1-2g or disenchanted |
whatever |
| Un'goro Crater |
Lev 52 Assasin's blade |
Fire elemental |
used it |
Watch out for wandering elites... |
| Your zone |
what you found |
beastie |
3g |
helpful comments |
| Your zone |
what you found |
beastie |
45g |
helpful comments |
| Scarlet M. |
what you found |
beastie |
sold to player, 8g |
whatever |
| Your zone |
what you found |
cliff face |
20g a stack |

Eventually you're going to have your own guide full of your own special areas and drop tables and the sell values will be right for your own server.
You'll probably want to make a seperate table for each zone, just for ease of handling.
